PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform fast-forwarding reproduction of disk recorded information at a desired speed regardless of a recording format. SOLUTION: When a control part 3 inputs a fast-forwarding instruction through a key inputting part 23 during normally reproducing a DVD 7, a fast-forwarding part 39 uses an address map 40 of a VOBU in title data 6 recorded in common in a +VR format or Video format in the DVD 7, reproduction start and end time data of each VOBU, and search information 60 so as to adjust a fast-forwarding speed according to an instructed desired speed.
