PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet system of an ink for a color filter capable of being stably and preferably used for manufacturing of a color filter excellent in uniformness of characteristic between individuals in which color ununiformness and concentration ununiformness at respective portions are suppressed, to provide a color filter excellent in uniformness of characteristic between individuals in which color ununiformness and concentration ununiformness at respective portions are suppressed, and a manufacturing method for the color filter, and to further provide an image display device provided with such a color filter and an electronic equipment.

SOLUTION: The ink for the color filter is the ink for the color filter used for manufacturing of the color filter by the inkjet system, and has a coloring agent and a liquid medium in which the coloring agent is dissolved and/or dispersed. The liquid medium contains a component a having different boiling points and a component b having a higher boiling point than the component a and having a higher viscosity at 25°C than the component a.
