In the manufacture of a laminated iron core, the surface roughness of steel sheets which constitute the materials for the laminated iron core, a plurality of which are overlaid on one another and are stamped out, is at most equal to 0.40 [µm], using an arithmetic mean roughness Ra. Further, the sheet thickness deviation, in the width direction, of at least the parts of the steel sheets that are used as the laminated iron core, where said steel sheets constitute the materials for the laminated iron core, is at most equal to 3 [µm] per 500 [mm]. A plurality of such steel sheets are overlaid on one another as the materials for the laminated iron core, the plurality of overlaid steel sheets are stamped out simultaneously, and the resulting stamped bodies are laminated and integrated to form the laminated iron core. |
