This lock mechanism comprises an engagement member (443), an operation member (420) and a drive mechanism (430). The drive mechanism (430) converts linear motion of the operation member (420) between a first position and a second position into rotation of the engagement member (443) between a first rotation position and a second rotation position so as to rotate the engagement member (443) to the first rotation position when the operation member (420) is moved to the first position and so as to rotate the engagement member (443) to the second rotation position when the operation member (420) is moved to the second position. The engagement member (443) has a pair of engagement pieces on either side of the rotation axis, and an engaged part comprises a pair of engagement recesses which engage with the pair of engagement pieces when the engagement member (443) is in the first rotation position and disengage with the pair of engagement pieces when the engagement member (443) is in the second rotation position.
