PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a light-emitting device having a small light-emission area, and a high light extraction efficiency.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a light-emitting device comprises the steps of: dropping an uncured resin 13' on a face of one or each of a light-emitting element 11 and a plate-like member 14 by an amount enough to keep a surface tension; putting together the light-emitting element 11 and the plate-like member 14 through the uncured resin 13' while keeping the surface tension of an uncured resin 13', thereby forming an uncured resin layer 13' having an inclined side face 130; and subsequently curing the uncured resin layer into a resin layer 13. The plate-like member is formed from a material in which the content of an alkali metal oxide is 0.2 wt.% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
