PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automated warehouse for a residence, which detects a posture abnormality of an operation auxiliary tool in a storage box before closing operation of an opening/closing door is performed and continues and resumes storage in the storage box without recovering the entire control system after correction of the posture abnormality of the operation auxiliary tool. SOLUTION: The automated warehouse for the residence is provided with: a plurality of storage shelves 10; a box conveyor 20; a storage and retrieval floor 30; the opening/closing door 33 between a movement path of the box conveyor 20 and the storage and retrieval floor 30; and a control means 35 for controlling operation of the box conveyor 20 and automatic opening/closing of the opening/closing door 33. The storage box 1 has the operation auxiliary tool 3 of which posture is changed, and a posture abnormality detection sensor 40 is provided in the vicinity of the opening/closing door 33. An auxiliary tool abnormality detection sensor is a sensor for detecting the posture abnormality of the operation auxiliary tool 3 in the storage box 1 before closing operation of the opening/closing door 33. When receiving a signal indicating the posture abnormality of the operation auxiliary tool 3 from the posture abnormality detection sensor 40, the control means 35 does not execute closing operation of the opening/closing door 33.
