PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging container formed from a container body and a film member interposed between the internal face of the container body and an accommodated item, the container being designed so as to reduce burden on a worker in assembling the container. SOLUTION: The container body 2 includes a bottom wall 5, a pair of first parallel side walls 6 extended upward from the perimetral edges of the bottom wall 5, a pair of second parallel side walls 7 extended upward from the perimetral edges of the bottom wall 5 so as to intersect the first side edges, and projections 8 formed near the corners of the bottom wall 5 so as to project from the bottom wall 2 and second side walls 7 and opposite the first side walls 6. A film member 3 is placed over the container body 2, and an assembling tool 10 is inserted in the container body 2 on the internal wall from above, thereby inserting the film member 3 in locking parts 9. At this time, friction between the film member 3 and the projections 8 of the first side wall 6 makes it possible to pull out only the assembling tool 10 without pulling the film member 3 from the locking parts 9.
