Provided is a composition comprising extract of Schizandra chinensis, which has antibacterial and immunity enhancing effects, and is used as an additive for animal feed. The composition for animal feed comprises extract of Schizandra chinensis having little in vivo toxicity and resistance and showing antibacterial activity as an active ingredient. The extract of Schizandra chinensis is soluble in a C1-C4 lower alcohol. The composition optionally further comprises beta-glucan, vitamin E, yeast culture or L-carnitine. |
