PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress power consumption when high driving is requested, in a brake control device for a vehicle equipped with a brake force detecting means detecting the brake force of each wheel, and a brake force controlling means controlling the brake force of each wheel by hydraulic pressure supplied from a hydraulic supplying source driven by a motor 22 such as a gear pump on a detection value of the brake force detecting means. SOLUTION: The brake control device comprises a battery 24 supplying power to the motor 22, and a boosting circuit 26 boosting voltage from the battery 24 and supplying that to the motor 22. In an electronic controller 27, a delay portion 270 is provided, which controls at least either one of the boosting amount of the boosting circuit 26 or a duty ratio of the motor 22 to become 100% after the expiration of a predetermined time from high load operation requesting time.
