PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical vehicular electromagnetic suspension system. SOLUTION: The suspension system having an electric motor is provided with an actuator for exhibiting the force of the actuator as the force in directions for approach/separation between wheels and a car body by using the force of the motor, and the suspension system exhibits the force of the actuator as the damping force and as the attitude control force for restricting a change of an attitude of the car body due to rolling and pitch of the car body. In the case wherein the charge condition of a battery for supplying the power to the motor is low-charge condition (S9), the attitude control force exhibited by a front wheel side actuator is limited (S11) to restrict consumption of the power from the battery and while to restrict attitude of the car body, and on the other hand, the attitude control force to be exhibited by a rear side actuator is increased (S12). With this system, the suspension system having a function for controlling attitude of the car body and excellent power saving characteristic can be realized. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
