The aim of the invention is to provide a sensor configuration which detects fundamental physical and/or chemical parameters that influence the human environment. Appropriate signals are generated, said signals reflecting the subjective perception of the present environment using corresponding parameters. The invention discloses a sensor assembly, which, by measuring several influential factors or parameters, detects the way in which a human being perceives environmental conditions. The invention thus relates to an assembly of several individual sensor components comprising signal processing electronics. The signals of individual parameters (S1... S6) that emanate from the individual sensor components indicate individual measured variables, which in themselves do not generate a comprehensive signal that can be used to describe the environment to be comprehensively assessed by human beings. Variables are generated from several individual signals using specific evaluation strategies (10), said variables indicating the way human beings perceive the environment.
