PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor wherein it does not take much time to transmit the image data to an operation panel from a controller (or wherein transmission of image data corresponding to one screen is completed in a short time even without using a high-speed interface). SOLUTION: In this information processor (a composite machine or the like) including the operation panel 20 and the controller 32, when necessity to make an LCD of the operation panel 20 display a new image (screen) occurs, compression image data obtained by compressing the image data of the image are transmitted to the operation panel 20 from the controller 20, and the LCD of the operation panel 20 is controlled (driven) by a decompression result of the compression image data.
