PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casing for an optical component capable of suppressing the intrusion of dust to the inside. SOLUTION: The casing 44 for the optical component includes: a container-like component storage member 441 for storing a plurality of the optical components; a cover-like member 442 capable of closing an opening part formed of each side wall part of the component storage member 441; and a first dust capture member 443 composed of a porous material or a fiber-like material.
