SOLUTION: The electro-optical device includes: a plurality of scanning lines (Yn); a plurality of data lines (Xm); a plurality of pixels (2) arranged correspondingly to intersections between the plurality of scanning lines (Yn) and the plurality of data lines (Xm); output lines (DOi) each of which is formed correspondingly to a plurality of data lines (Xm) and to which a correction voltage having a prescribed voltage level and time-series data voltages for driving each data line group composed of N data lines are outputted in a prescribed period; and a time division circuit (42) for simultaneously supplying the correction voltage outputted to the output line (DOi) to M data lines out of N data lines composing the data line group, time-dividing the time-series data voltages outputted to the output line, and distributing a data voltage for regulating the gradation of pixels obtained by the time-division to any of N data lines composing the data line group.
