PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection display apparatus which is provided with a simple adjustment mechanism for adjusting a screen distortion and can securely prevent the deviation of screen position even if external force such as vibration or impact is applied. SOLUTION: The projection display apparatus 100 includes: a video output unit 3 that projects an image; a screen 1 for displaying an image projected from the video output unit 3; a holding plate 4 for supporting the video output unit 3; the adjustment mechanism having a base part 13 for supporting the hold plate 4 and used to rotate the holding plate 4 within a predetermined plane in relation to the base part 13; and a locking mechanism for fixing the holding plate 4 relative to the base part 13.
