<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow distribution of a content duplicated via an authentic route (officially duplicated content) in a state advantageous over a content duplicated without authentic authority. <P>SOLUTION: An information reproducing apparatus for reproducing content information based on license information that is added to the content information and is required when the content information is reproduced, includes a determination means for determining whether encrypted content information is officially duplicated content information or privately duplicated content information, based on the contents of the license information, and a reproduction means for reproducing content information that has been determined by the determination means to be privately duplicated content information, under a limitation that is stricter than that on officially duplicated content information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
