<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a check valve functioning as a flow amount detector for detecting a flow amount approximate to zero while securing free distribution of water, and to provide a pump device equipped therewith. <P>SOLUTION: The check valve comprises a valve element 1 for abutting on a valve seat 10 provided in a liquid passage 11, a valve rod 2 to be moved integrally with the valve element 1, a guide member 3 having a hole into which the valve rod 2 is slidably inserted, a magnet 6 embedded in the valve rod 2, and a reed switch 7 to be opened/closed with the operation of a magnetic field.
