PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage information on the control of power modes more appropriately.SOLUTION: A data processing device includes: a first information processing device having a first power mode and a second power mode in which power is consumed less than in the first power mode; and a second information processing device capable of communicating with the first information processing device and an external device connected via a network. The data processing device receives definition information including processing information indicating processing for a packet from the network and identification information to allow the packet to be identified from at least one of the first information processing device and the external device, and on receiving a packet transmitted by the external device in the second power mode, analyzes the packet to identify definition information corresponding to the packet on the basis of identification information included in definition information received by reception means, and performs a process according to the processing information included in the definition information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
