摘要 [Solving Means] In a nozzle plate of the present invention, part of fuel flowing out from the fuel injection port of the fuel injection device is atomized by colliding with an interference body, is rapidly bent in a flowing direction, and collides with the fuel that is flowing straight through nozzle holes and an orifice to make the fuel flow that flows straight through the nozzle hole and orifice turbulent. The orifice includes a corner portion formed by an outer edge portion of the interference body and having a sharply pointed shape without roundness at a part of an opening edge. The corner portion makes an end portion of a liquid film of fuel passing through the orifice into a sharply pointed shape for ease of atomization by friction with air.

A nozzle plate for a fuel injection device mounted at a fuel injection port of the fuel injection device comprising: a nozzle hole which allows passage of fuel injected from the fuel injection port, wherein the nozzle hole is a hole formed in a nozzle plate body, and an orifice which narrows down a fuel flow on an outlet-side opening portion side is formed by the outlet-side opening portion, which is an opening portion on a side where fuel flows out, being partly occluded by an interference body, the nozzle plate body and the interference body are integrally molded by cooling and solidifying a melted material filled in a cavity, the interference body is configured to atomize part of the fuel passing through the nozzle hole by making part of the fuel passing through the nozzle hole collide therewith and rapidly bending part of the flow passing through the nozzle hole to cause the fuel to collide with fuel flowing straight through the nozzle hole and the orifice, thereby making the fuel flow turbulent for ease of atomization of the fuel that has passed through the orifice in the air, the orifice includes a corner portion defined by an outer edge portion of the interference body and having a sharply pointed shape without roundness at part of an opening edge, and the corner portion of the orifice is formed into a sharply pointed shape and makes an end portion of a liquid film of fuel passing through the orifice have a sharply pointed shape for ease of atomization by friction with air.
