PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reading control device and the like capable of shortening the reading time of identification information of a cartridge.SOLUTION: A reading control device which controls reading of identification information given to a cartridge arranged in a fixed direction comprises: image acquisition means which acquires an image of the identification information under a reading condition stored in storage means and associated with the reading position of the identification information; and condition control means which changes the reading condition when reading of the identification information cannot be performed on the basis of the acquired image, and updates the reading condition stored in the storage means with the changed reading condition when reading of the identification information can be performed on the basis of the image acquired by the image acquisition means under the changed reading condition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
