PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide reeds, a sley and attachments thereof for a handloom which can easily manufacture woven fabrics having different widths.SOLUTION: In a handloom, reeds for the handloom are structured such that: a fixed reed and a beating reed are provided in front of a heddle for warp yarns reaching a cloth fell from a warp beam and a back beam through the heddle; the fixed reed is fixed so as to be immovable in a forward and backward direction and a vertical direction; one or multiple warp yarns are inserted through each space between dents of the fixed reed, and all of the warp yarns pass through spaces between the dents of the fixed reed; the beating reed is provided in front of the fixed reed while being attached to a sley, and is movable in the forward and backward direction integrally with the sley; and the beating reed has no lower frame and has a lower end as a free end, and the lower end is located above the warp yarns without being brought into contact with the warp yarns when the warp yarns are not opened.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
