The aim of the invention is to facilitate the use of a storage battery during cold weather, in particular with a view to making it possible to start the engine of a motor vehicle. It concerns a heating device (100; 200; 300; 400) for heating a storage battery (10) comprising an extraction circuit comprising a first electronic component (140; 240; 340, 341; 440). According to the invention, the heating device comprises: . a restoration circuit which comprises a second electronic component (160; 260; 340, 341; 440) separate from or combined with said first electronic component, . selection means (110, 111, 112, 114; 211, 212, 214; 311, 312, 313; 411, 412, 413, 414) for connecting one or the other of the extraction and restoration circuits to a same terminal of the storage battery, and . a control unit (115; 215) for controlling the selection means, capable of connecting the extraction circuit, then the restoration circuit, to said terminal in such a way as to transfer electrical energy. |
