<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion device performing good combustion of off-gas from a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The combustion device 5 comprises a distributor 9 spouting fuel gas 8, an air spouting part 10 supplying air 11 to the fuel gas 8, a blowing means 25 supplying the air 11 to the air spouting part 10, a passage for blowing 19 communicated with the blowing means 25 and the air spouting part 10, and an air control device 20 arranged in the middle of the passage for blowing 19 for varying a blowing resistance. The air control device 20 functions so as to increase the blowing resistance of the passage for blowing 19 when burning the off-gas (non-reacted hydrogen gas) 7 exhausted from the fuel cell. By the above, the combustion device 5 performs the combustion with less amount of the air (low excess rate of oxygen), prevents heat loss of a hydrogen generating device 1, and improves the quality of reformation reaction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
