摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic composition useful for manufacturing a heat-shielding coating with a low thermal conductivity for a metal base body of a product operated at a high temperature or exposed to a high temperature. <P>SOLUTION: The ceramic composition contains zirconia of &ge;91 mol.% and a stabilizer component of &le;9 mol.%. The stabilizer component contains a first metal oxide selected from yttrium oxide, calcium oxide, cerium oxide, scandium oxide, magnesium oxide, indium oxide, and their mixtures. In addition, the stabilizer component contains a second metal oxide of a trivalent metal selected from lanthanum oxide, gadolinium oxide, neodymium oxide, samarium oxide, dysprosium oxide, and their mixtures and a third metal oxide of a trivalent metal selected from ytterbium oxide, erbium oxide, and their mixture. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
