PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid of a washing machine formed of easily moldable copolymer ester resin, having superior chemical resistance against detergent and the like and having transparency, impact resistance and heat resistance. SOLUTION: This lid body of the washing machine is formed of copolymer polyester resin obtained by dicarboxylic acid component mainly composed of terephthalic acid and/or its ester-forming derivative, and diol component mainly composed of ethylene glycol and 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol; the 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol is 8-15 mol% of all diol components; and the intrinsic viscosity of copolymer ester resin is within 0.50-0.80 dL/g.
