The invention describes a method for producing a pressing mould profile (21) of a pressing mould for a non-circular, sintered sprocket or toothed belt pulley (1), in which method a pressing mould profile (21) is defined by scaling a nominal profile (19) of the sprocket or toothed belt pulley (1) by a scaling factor. The pressing mould profile (21) is defined, in addition to the scaling of the nominal profile (19), by means of a corrective displacement.
