<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of managing entrance and exit operations for a hazardous contamination area. <P>SOLUTION: A contamination management system has an opening/closing gate apparatus that includes an IC card for recording an accumulated amount of contamination and an entrance clock time; a memory for storing the amount of unit contamination and the amount of contamination limit; an entrance time recording means for recording the entrance clock time on the IC card; a stay period calculating means which reads the entrance clock time from the IC card and calculates the stay period, by subtracting it from the current clock time; a contamination amount calculating means which multiplies the stay period by the amount of unit contamination, thereby calculating the contamination amount; an update accumulated amount returning means which reads the accumulated amount of contamination from the IC card, adds it to the contamination amount, produces an updating accumulated amount of contamination and returns it; a determining means which compares the updated accumulated amount of contamination with the amount of contamination limit and determines whether the updated accumulated amount of contamination exceeds the amount of contamination limit; and a warning information issuing means which issues warning information, when the accumulated amount of contamination exceeds the amount of contamination limit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
