PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal separator capable of being reduced in size, capable of being carried about and capable of surely and readily performing mounting of a target, to which centrifugal force is imparted, even if it is small sized. SOLUTION: The centrifugal separator 1 is equipped with a case 10 having a movable lid 20 for opening and closing an opening part 70, a disk driving part 41 arranged in the case 10 and a disk 40 capable of continuously rotating a sensor chip 100 arranged in the case 10 through an opening part 70 of the case 10 as the target in a state loaded with the sensor chip 100 by the operation of the disk driving part 41 to apply centrifugal force to the disk 40 and positioning the sensor chip 100 at the position separated from the center-of-rotation center axis CL of the disk 40 to fix the same. The opening part 70 opened and closed by the movable lid 20 being an on-off member for charging the sensor chip 100 in the case 10 in the disk 40 is provided in the vicinity of the center-of-rotation axis CL of the disk 40, and the opening part 70 is exposed by the slide operation of the movable lid 20.
