PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive flocculation detemining device which is easy in operability and easy to determine weak positivity or negativity. SOLUTION: In the flocculation determining device is equipped with at least one light-pervious column filled with a solid filter material having light perviousness, the column is filled with the solid filter material so as to leave a definite interval from the bottom surface of the column and the solid filter material is selected from among a group consisting of a porous resin, a fiber and a hollow fiber.
