PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analytical method for a sebum capable of analyzing easily and quickly a constitutive component of the sebum with high reproducibility, in a micro amount of a sample. SOLUTION: This analytical method for the sebum using a pyrolysis gas chromatography-mass spectrometry pyrolyzes the sebum at a temperature capable of pyrolyzing only a free fatty acid to be detected, at a temperature capable of pyrolyzing all the constitutive lipids in the sebum other than cholesterol ester to be detected, at a temperature capable of pyrolyzing all the constitutive lipids in the whole sebum to be detected, and at a temperature capable of detecting a fatty acid constituting a constitutive lipid of the methylated sebum, and compares pieces of information of the components detected at the respective temperatures.
