METHOD FOR CHECKING THE INTEGRITY OF A BICYCLE FRAME

The invention relates to a method for checking the integrity of a bicycle frame (1) after an accident, wherein for this purpose stiffness characteristic values of the then brand-new bicycle frame (1) are used as reference values, wherein the stiffness characteristic values of the bicycle frame (1) are determined after the accident in accordance with the same method as the reference values and wherein the stiffness characteristic values determined after the accident are compared with the corresponding reference values. According to the invention, the use of the reference values occurs by means of an electronic and/or magnetic storage medium (7), which is arranged on the bicycle frame (1) and on which the reference values are stored.
