PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a plate-passing property of a rolled material Z while performing a wedge reduction of the rolled material Z.SOLUTION: In a control method for the levelling control device, correction amounts of levelling (levelling correction amounts) (&Dgr;S[1], &Dgr;S[2], &Dgr;S[3], &Dgr;S[4], &Dgr;S[5], &Dgr;S[6], &Dgr;S[7]) of respective rolling stands (F1, F2, F3, F4, F5, F6, F7) according to a wedge ratio (WD/H) of the rolled material Z on the outlet side of a finishing mill 1, are calculated, and levelling control amounts (&Dgr;S[1], &Dgr;S[2], &Dgr;S[3], &Dgr;S[4], &Dgr;S[5], &Dgr;S[6], &Dgr;S[7]) of the respective rolling stands (F1, F2, F3, F4, F5, F6, F7) based on the calculated levelling correction amounts (&Dgr;S[1], &Dgr;S[2], &Dgr;S[3], &Dgr;S[4], &Dgr;S[5], &Dgr;S[6], &Dgr;S[7]), are corrected. |
