The method involves separating a hydrogen portion from a sample gas flow by a condensed gas chromatography-support. Concentrations of carbon monoxide along hydrogen and hydrogen along carbon monoxide are qualitatively and quantitatively determined by a sensor after separation by a piece of the condensed gas chromatography-support. The hydrogen and the carbon monoxide are physically separated from each other and separately analyzed.
