PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bill processor allowing an operator to easily perform the maintenance and replacement of a bill processing unit as well as collection of bills. SOLUTION: The bill processor 3 has the bill processing unit 13 comprising a bill discrimination part for discriminating received bills and a storage part for storing the bills discriminated in the bill discriminating part. The bill processing unit 13 is attached to a device body in such a way as can be drawn out to the front, and therefore, the bills stored in the storage part can be collected by drawing out the bill processing unit 13 forward from the device body 3. The bill processing device also has a fixed rail 30 fixed in the front/rear direction to the device body 3, a sliding rail 31 (33) slidable in the front/rear direction to the fixed rail 30, and a front/rear sliding part 35 fixed to the front end of the sliding rail 31 (33). The front/rear sliding part 35 has a front panel 10 on which a bill slot to insert bills is formed. The bill processing unit 13 is detachably attached to the front/rear sliding part 35.
