PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency and increase an air volume, by reducing disk friction fan action and reducing leakage flow acceleration action. SOLUTION: In a blower device, a shroud 4 with flange part 4a opposed to a partition board 5 and having a predetermined length in a radial direction is positioned on a suction side of the partition board 5 arranged at a predetermined position on an outer peripheral surface side of an axial flow impeller 1. A cavity part 6 is disposed between the partition board 5 and the flange part 4a. The cavity part disposed between the partition board 5 and the flange part 4a reduces the disk friction fan action and also reduces the action accelerating a back flow leakage flow E.
