PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving handrail device of a passenger conveyor which can suppress the generation of noise such as a scratch sound generated between a hand rail and itself caused by the deterioration of a handrail belt, and can be used for a long period of time without being forced in the early exchange of the handrail belt.SOLUTION: In a moving handrail device of a passenger conveyor in which a handrail belt 14 endlessly moves in synchronization with footsteps along a handrail rail 16 which is fixed to a handrail 11, a plurality of threads of grooves 22 extending in a longitudinal direction are formed in a position which is symmetric with respect to the handrail 11 at a rear surface of the handrail rail 16 being a side opposite to a surface side with a side with which an inside face of a flank part of the handrail belt 14 on which a passenger puts his/her hand contacts as the surface side of the handrail rail 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
