PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely pack a liquid into a detection space part when the liquid is introduced initially by exactly setting the positional relation between the liquid detection chamber and the movement member including a pressure receiving plate moving in the chamber. SOLUTION: A liquid detection device includes the liquid detection chamber 200 whose volume is changed in accordance with a liquid pressure, the movement member 300 installed in the liquid detection chamber, a detection part including the detection space part communicating with the liquid detection chamber through the through hole of a detection part installation member and a piezoelectric sensor detecting a residual vibration waveform by applying vibration to the detection space part, and a bias member which moves/biases the movement member to the side of the detection part installation member. The movement member has the pressure receiving plate, and the pressure receiving plate has two shafts 320. The liquid detection chamber includes bearing members 220 and 224 positioning the two shafts 320 respectively in the first direction X of the rectangularly crossing two axial directions of the two-dimensional plane parallel with a plane of the detection part installation member and facing members 234 and 236 which face the respective tip surfaces of the two shafts 320 and position them in the second direction Y of rectangularly crossing two axes.
