PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a favorable space selection ability and a frequency selection ability by easily and highly accurately removing the influence of eddy current and a residual magnetic field due to a vibrating gradient magnetic field in an imaging using a pulse sequence for applying a plurality of RF pulses, along with the vibrating gradient magnetic field. SOLUTION: This magnetic resonance imaging apparatus independently calculates deviations between the phase of a nuclear spin and the phase of the RF pulses due to the residual magnetic field and the eddy current from the phase of an excitation profile in a captured image or the receiving signal, respectively. The influence of the residual magnetic field and the eddy current are removed by correcting individual phases of sub-pulses constituting the RF pulse using the calculated values.
