<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shape of a rectangular bottle, especially a designed shape of a peripheral rib, which can exert a sufficient vertical backling strength and peripheral strength, and to provide a rectangular bottle made of a synthetic resin which has a sufficient strength, thus can be used safely even if large-sized bottle. <P>SOLUTION: The rectangular bottle made of the synthetic resin has a rectangular right-angled cylinder portion formed of four flat walls and angled portions connecting adjacent flat walls, the rectangular right-angled cylinder portion being formed in a range of a given height of a cylindrical trunk. The peripheral wall of the rectangular right-angled cylinder portion is provided with a plurality of peripheral groove ribs parallel with each other which are formed peripherally as cutout portions at the location of four angled-portions, where each peripheral groove rib is a recessed form extending intermittently along the periphery of the peripheral wall. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
