The method also includes determining whether a data storage device includes modification data indicating that the initial result set is stale. The method further includes updating the initial result set in accordance with the modification data if the initial result set is stale. The method also includes sending the updated result set of the query to a client. The updated result set of the query is different from the initial result set of the query.
