PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine control device capable of controlling generation of a torque shock when starting up an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A control device (40) of an internal combustion engine is applied to a vehicle which has: the internal combustion engine (10) with a surge tank (22) at a downstream side of a throttle valve (20) on an intake passage (10b); a motor (15) to rotate the internal combustion engine when the same is started up; and intake air pressure detection means (23) to detect internal pressure at the downstream side of the throttle valve on the intake air passage as intake air pressure. The control device has combustion start means which allows: the motor to rotate the internal combustion engine when starting up the same with an opening of the throttle valve controlled at a position closer to closing side than a predetermined position through closing control means; and the internal combustion engine to start combustion of fuel on the condition that the intake air pressure detected by the intake air pressure detection means becomes lower than predetermined pressure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
