The method for vacuum distillation of smelling and gustatory substances from sunflower oil by inert gas relates to the technical field “processes and equipment in the chemical industry”, in particular vegetable oils refinement. The method for vacuum distillation of smelling and gustatory substances from sunflower oil by inert gas is implemented in a device consisting of in-series connected distiller, vacuum pump, purifying device and an adjustable choke, whose output is connected to the input of a mixing device mounted in the distiller. To the distiller, dosed quantity of sunflower oil is supplied, the free spaces of the distiller and the other devices are de-aerated by connecting them to a vacuum main; after reaching vacuum of the value set, the free spaces are filled-in with inert gas to a certain pressure from a gas bottle, the vacuum pump of the device is started and the inert gas begins to recirculate from the distiller with smelling and gustatory substances, through the vacuum pump, where the pressure of the mixture is increased, through a purifying device where the inert gas is purified of the vapours, through an adjustable choke regulating the vacuum in the distiller, through the mixing device, where it is mixed with the oil, through the distiller’s exit to the vacuum pump, where a new cycle begins. This method allows to be repeatedly used for the distillation of certain amounts of inert gas, to distil at low temperatures smelling and gustatory substances of sunflower oil, while maintaining the antioxidants contained therein, to save energy in the process of deodorising. |
