<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a high efficiency motor drive by reducing the switching loss of an inverter element in a motor driving device for driving a brushless DC motor by a substantially sine wave-like coil current. <P>SOLUTION: The driving device includes an ac power supply 1, an active converter 2, an inverter 3, a motor 4, a voltage applying means 5, a current instruction value output means 6, and a voltage instruction value output means 7. The voltage instruction output means 7 controls the dc voltage instruction value of the active converter 2 so that at least one part of conduction ratio of a PWM signal outputted from the voltage applying means 5 becomes 100%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
