The invention relates to a propeller blower for axial outflow of suctioned air by means of an impeller disk ( 2 ) which is adjacent to the inside of the flow channel, said impeller disk comprising convex blades ( 1 ). The blades ( 1 ) are embodied as shell blades with elongate extensions. An end region ( 20 ) is connected to the impeller disk ( 2 ) in the area of penetration. The other end ( 21 ) extends in radial manner towards the outside and has increasing radial distances with the axial components in the direction of flow.
