The invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, namely to a method for production of steel blank. A method for production of steel blank comprises the outlet of steel by portions from one and more steel-smelting units into pouring steelcasting ladles, out-of-furnace treatment and casting of steel into the blank, at that steel from pouring steelcasting ladles is poured in storage steelcasting ladle, where out-of-furnace and steel casting in the machine of continuous casting of steel blanks is carried out. The volume of steel accumulative mass corresponds to that which is to be poured on the machine of continuous casting of the blank with refinement or deoxidation of steel and removal of smoke and dust before casting of steel. The invention provides the synchronization of operations of the method by efficiency and liquidation of equipment downtime.
