PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion apparatus the power loss of which in a diode bridge element is reduced for saving on energy. SOLUTION: Two diode bridge elements 110 and 120 are provided. Two input terminals 111 and 112 of one diode bridge element 110 are connected to one AC input terminal 101 of a power conversion apparatus 100. Two input terminals 121 and 122 of the other diode bridge element 120 are connected to the other AC input terminal 102. A positive electrode terminal 103 is connected to positive electrode output terminals 113 and 123 of the two diode bridge elements 110 and 120 and also to the positive electrode terminal of a capacitor 130. A negative electrode output terminal 104 is connected to negative electrode output terminals 114 and 124 of the two diode bridge elements 110 and 120, and also to the negative electrode terminal of the capacitor 130.
