PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet material reversing device capable of reducing slipping of a sheet material in a main scanning direction at the reverse conveyance change-over of the sheet material even suppressing an increase in the number of parts, and an image forming device. SOLUTION: In the sheet material reversing device for the image forming device, a reverse paper delivery driving roller 84 has a fulcrum shaft 84A, a roller 84B and a hub 84C. When setting the hardness of the fulcrum shaft 84A to H<SB>1</SB>, the hardness of the roller 84B to H<SB>2</SB>and the hardness of the hub 84C to H<SB>3</SB>, they are constituted to satisfy a relationship of H<SB>2</SB><H<SB>3</SB>≤H<SB>1</SB>. When setting the thickness of the roller 84B to t<SB>1</SB>and the thickness of the hub 84C to t<SB>2</SB>, they are constituted to satisfy a relationship of t<SB>1</SB><t<SB>2</SB>.
