PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial motor capable of suppressing the vibration of a rotor while efficiently using power by enhancing the function of the rotor. SOLUTION: The axial motor MO is provided with the rotor 20 opposed to a stator 10. The rotor 20 is provided with a rotor body 22 fixed to a rotary shaft 21 and a permanent magnet 23 attached to the rotor body 22 so as to be opposed to a core 15 of the stator 10. The rotor body 22 has a planar disc-like member 22a as a ring-like member coupled to the rotary shaft 21, and a fan blade 22b attached to the disc-like member 22a. The rigidity of the rotor body 22 is improved by the fan blade 22b and the vibration in rotation is suppressed, and further the fan blade 22b works as a centrifugal fan. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
