PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an iris control device of a television camera which can control a single television camera by a plurality of control panels concurrently with excellent operation feeling. SOLUTION: An A/D conversion is performed by an A/D converter 14 to a variation of a potentiometer detected by an operation of a tab 13, and a value to which the A/D conversion is performed is stored in a buffer 15 as a VR_DATA. When the tab 13 is operated again, the VR_DATA is stored in the buffer 15, and the VR_DATA at a previous operation is transferred to a buffer 16 through a switch 23 to be stored in the buffer 16 as an OLD_VR_DATA. The VR_DATA and the OLD_VR_DATA are subtracted by a subtractor 17, and difference data between the VR_DATA and the OLD_VR_DATA is outputted to a manual file 11 as relative value data.
