PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backlight type display device capable of easily dealing with modification and addition of a display content without preparing redundancy configuration in advance. SOLUTION: In the backlight type display device having a cell 2 having a display part 13 holding a transmission sheet 14 describing the display content, and a light emitting part 12 back-lighting the transmission sheet 14, and a frame 1 held so as to discriminate a plurality of the cells 2 by the display content, the cell 2 can be changed to a desired display content by substituting the transmission sheet 14 held on the display part 13.
